Angela Trivino is an acclaimed costume designer for film, theater, and commercials, with a career that spans from the big screen to the big stage. Her work on the critically acclaimed film Mucho Mucho Amor: La leyenda de Walter Mercado, starring Linn Manuel Miranda and Eugenio Derbez, earned it a Critics Choice Award nomination and won Best Latinx Film at NALIP.  Her most recent feature film starring Inbar Lavi, Jake McLaughlin, and Ray Panthaki is currently in post-production.  Angela has also had the privilege to design in close collaboration with director Samantha Shay and Tanztherater Wuppertal Pina Bausch on two dance feature films: Mother Melancholia (2021) and Romance (2022), shot in Iceland and Wuppertal Germany respectively. Most recently, Angela coordinated custom-made garments for Taylor Swift’s The Eras tour – the most successful tour of its time, with over 2.4 million tickets sold in one day.

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Angela now works between Colombia and Los Angeles, where she holds an MFA in Design for Performance at the California Institute of Art.
