Shone Satheesh Babu is an accomplished multimedia journalist with over a decade of experience covering pivotal issues surrounding politics, caste, human rights, and social movements. Based in New York, Shone has contributed to globally recognized media outlets such as Al JazeeraDeutsche WelleThe Straits Times, and Livemint. His work deeply investigates the effects of caste-based discrimination on Indian society, addressing housing, labor, healthcare, and environmental justice.

Shone’s journalism is not just about reporting; it is a commitment to social justice, as demonstrated by his RedInk Award for exposing the impact of industrial pollution on marginalized communities in Mumbai. He was also awarded a prestigious National Geographic Society grant for his documentary work.
