Adolfo Matto Traverso has graced the world stage as a ballet dancer of exceptional talent and has demonstrated his artistic prowess in premier dance companies like The National Ballet of Peru, The Municipal Ballet of Lima, and internationally for Compania Brasileira de Ballet. Trained at prestigious ballet schools such as the Escuela Nacional Superior de Ballet, Institute of Art of Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires, Escuela de Ballet de Chiclayo, Conservatorio Brasileiro de Dança, and The Rock School for Dance Education, Adolfo’s skills are rooted in a robust educational foundation.
For over a decade, Adolfo has leveraged his intensive training and experience to mentor aspiring ballet dancers, passing on his knowledge and igniting their passion for dance. His own exceptional dance skills have garnered him a string of prestigious awards, including first places in Contemporary and Classical dance at the Festival de Dança Joinville, second place for Choreography at the Lima Dance Festival, and the honor of being a finalist for the Prix de Lausanne.
Adolfo’s artistic journey has seen him perform in highly acclaimed ballets with the Compania Brasileira de Ballet, as a soloist at Ballet Nacional del Perú, and as a principal dancer for the Municipal Ballet of Lima. His technical abilities and unique interpretative style have been recognized and lauded in prominent publications like Peru 21, Somos, La Industria, El Comercio, and Satelite, further cementing his reputation as a leading figure in the world of ballet.
